Iceland Forces Debt Forgiveness : MEDIA BLACKOUT The Biggest Story of 2012

So in summary of the Icelandic revolution: The Icelandic people have been able to show that there is a way to beat the system and has given a democracy lesson to the world -resignation of the whole government -nationalization of the bank. -referendum so that the people can decide over the economic decisions. -incarcerating the responsible parties -rewriting of the constitution by its people This move is what got Julius Ceasar killed in ancient Rome. He reduced the mortgage debt of the population by 50%. This would be a viable solution to the problem. Bank shareholders and holders of mortgage debt instruments would suffer, so your life insurance policy and retirement savings might become worthless, but your house would be clear title. Every American Need 2 Follow Suite With This This is awesome. It shows when the people DO STAND UP they have more power and win against the corrupt bankers and politicians of a country. Iceland is forgiving and erasing the mortgage debt of the population. They are putting the bankers and politicians on the “Bench of the Accused.” Which means I assume they are putting them on trial for corruption. Now the rest of people of the world need to start doing the same thing. We all need to stand up and against all the corruption and fraud of the banks and politicians that are puppets of the banks and corporations. The government of Iceland has forgiven the mortgage debt for much of its population. This nation chose a very different way of stopping

Global ECONOMIC Collapse 2012 [WORLD DEBT CRISIS]

GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS: 2007–2012 global financial crisis, is considered by many economists to be the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s. It resulted in the threat of total collapse from large financial institutions, the bailout of banks by national governments, and downturns in stock markets around the world. In many areas, the housing market also suffered, resulting in evictions, foreclosures and prolonged unemployment. The crisis played a significant role in the failure of key businesses, declines in consumer wealth estimated in trillions of US dollars, and a downturn in economic activity leading to the 2008–2012 global recession and contributing to the European sovereign-debt crisis. The active phase of the crisis, which manifested as a liquidity crisis, can be dated from August 7, 2007 when a French bank with an auxiliary headquarters in the UK terminated withdrawals from 3 hedge funds citing “a complete evaporation of liquidity.” The bursting of the US housing bubble, which peaked in 2006, caused the values of securities tied to US real estate pricing to plummet, damaging financial institutions globally. The financial crisis was triggered by a complex interplay of the overvaluation of bundled sub-prime mortgages, questionable trading practices on behalf of both buyers and sellers, and a lack of adequate capital holdings from banks and insurance companies to back the financial commitments they were making. Questions regarding bank

BBC NEWS: Eurozone debt crisis, economy stalling and global market turmoil. – August 6, 2011 (HD)

One of the world’s leading credit rating agencies, Standard & Poor’s, has downgraded the United States’ top-notch AAA rating for the first time ever. S&P cut the long-term US rating by one notch to AA+ with a negative outlook, citing concerns about budget deficits. The agency said the deficit reduction plan passed by the US Congress on Tuesday did not go far enough. Correspondents say the downgrade could erode investors’ confidence in the world’s largest economy. It is already struggling with huge debts, unemployment of 9.1% and fears of a possible double-dip recession. The downgrade is a major embarrassment for the administration of President Barack Obama and could raise the cost of US government borrowing. This in turn could trickle down to higher interest rates for local governments and individuals. www.bbc.co.uk www.bbc.co.uk BBC © 2011
